We’ve shared in the past how thrilled we are to be part of Four Seasons’ Preferred Partner program.  It is an exclusive, invitation-only program for luxury travel agencies from around the world.  This allows us to book our clients with the highest level of benefits and amenities at Four Seasons hotels and resorts, as well as gives us direct access to the teams that make our clients’ travel dreams come true.  For this newsletter, we thought it would be dreamy to partner with the Four Seasons and show you some of the amazing properties and experiences that they offer.

Discover the Rarest Wonders of Costa Rica

Costa Rica is famous for eco-travel, and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo provides the ultimate two-day eco-experience, letting you accompany environmental scientists on rare land and sea adventures. It’s a chance to provide hands-on help in their efforts to study and protect exotic and endangered wildlife.

The first day begins with a private flight above the Pacific coastline, revealing a bird’s-eye view of dense forests, mangrove canals, and volcanic rock formations. Upon arrival at the unspoiled Golfo Dulce, board a yacht to spend the day studying the life and habitat of hammerhead sharks. Led by marine biologists and conservationists, you’ll help monitor adolescent sharks and learn to document their activities. There’s an option to “adopt” and name a shark and receive reports on its travels and growth over its lifespan. At day’s end, return to Four Seasons for a great night’s sleep.

The next day, go deep into the rainforest to play a vital role in documenting butterfly species. After a 35-minute flight along Guanacaste’s volcanic mountain range, you’ll land at Quebrada Grande and head to nearby Santa Rosa to meet a famous biologist in his lab – home to one of the world’s largest collections of tropical butterflies. Hike through dense forests, where you’ll help with photographic documentation and the collection of caterpillar specimens. Discuss your findings over dinner, then head off on a moonlit trek into the forest to seek out rare butterflies. After another unforgettable day, it’s time to return to Four Seasons.

Dine at the Great Pyramid in Cairo

Venture into the desert to experience one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Giza is just a 30-minute drive from Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, making it easy to access this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Beneath a canopy of stars, you’ll see the legendary pyramids illuminated with majestic colors, celebrating the magnificence of the great pharaohs. Be guided to a specially built tent at the Giza Plateau, where you’ll dine privately, overlooking the breathtaking views of all three pyramids. A dedicated Four Seasons chef and culinary team will cater to your epicurean desires – from an opulent oriental-themed menu to international cuisines.

Meanwhile, live entertainment will serenade you with some of the Eastern world’s greatest musical works, creating an ethereal atmosphere to accompany this lavish dinner. The night continues with a private Tanoura show to round out the occasion in true Egyptian fashion. It’s an evening fit for – and inspired by – Egypt’s greatest kings and queens, and it’s bound to leave every guest lost for words.

Eat the Volcano in Taormina, Sicily

With centuries of history, San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel, is a legendary destination known for postcard views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna – an active volcano that provides fertile ground for local farms and vineyards.

Taste the richness and variety of Mount Etna’s produce with this ultimate epicurean adventure. Accompanied by Chef Massimo Mantarro or a member of his team, you’ll journey onto Etna to explore its fertile terroir. During the first stop, you’ll meet a local shepherd and taste freshly made ricotta paired with warm, just-out-of-the-oven bread. From there, you’ll spend time foraging for seasonal wild vegetables and herbs, led by the expert eyes of the culinary team. Your next stop is the contemporary Cottanera vineyard, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a three-course meal. Upon your return to the Hotel, the kitchen staff will prepare your vegetable and herb harvest for dinner, so at the end of the day, you can actually say you “ate the volcano.”

For a gentler expedition, plan a Stargazing Safari. Visit a remote area on Mount Etna to admire nature’s spectacle: the night sky. Etna has practically no light pollution, so you can enjoy an immaculate view of the stars. Accompanied by a local astrophysicist, you’ll learn to recognize Orion, Ursa Major, Cassiopeia, Centaurus, Perseus, and other constellations while hearing tales of Greek mythology. To accompany your evening of stargazing, the Chef will prepare a meal of local wines and specialties. Afterward, sink into comfort with blankets, pillows, and mattresses laid out for your evening of astronomy and mythology.
